i never said you weren't a good friend, but that particular thing you did, showed a bad friend quality. and i feel like you're right, he did ask you out, you liked him, he liked you. what happened, has happened but don't make it out to be all kevins actions because you triggered the situation by showing affection toward him at the parade. she didn't know because you told her, she knew because she saw it coming, and she didn't get your text message until the day she got here, and you know i feel like a better move would've been to text her before it happened, to ask her how she felt about it. i mean i applaud you for taking that opportunity on the day she left to camp. smart choice. you wanted him. you got him. and any girlfriend of kevins is a blessing. but seriously? "you haven't been this happy in a long time?' come on now, you were so happy with marc, don't front. and you know what, i don't buy the whole, "i would've been unhappy [if i didn't say yes]." because you can't always be happy, and sometimes you have to sacrifice that happiness for a best friend who you love, who you might lose or grow a little more disconnected to. so, i would think over your judgement over the summer. we all have something to work on.
